Let The Games Begin

This weekend Team PiP have been lucky enough to attend the London 2012 Paralympics. We had park passes and access to both the athletics and the aquatic centre.

To say we are blown away with what we have seen would have to be the biggest understatement ever. To witness the likes of Richard Whitehead in the 200m final, not only go from 7th to 1st in the last 100m to grab the Gold, he also smashed the world record. If the Stadium had a roof it wouldn’t have had one for long as the atmosphere and noise would have blasted it over to West London.

Not only that but the park itself is truly incredible. Some fantastic architecture combined with amazing wild planting really made the whole experience even better. London really did deliver. This was something I’ve never experienced and will also never forget. A truly amazing experience that just had to be shared.

As usual I was armed with my trusty street camera the GX1 with the assistance on my new tool the GoPro HD Hero2. Some pictures of the 3 days are below, we hope you enjoy them.
