London Town

As well as Lifestyle Portraits and Weddings there are plenty of other photography styles I enjoy. One of those is Street photography. It kind of explains itself and has many forms, but it’s basically shots on life capture in a documentary style whether it be humorous, serious and everything in between.

It’s usually shot with a fixed prime lens with a focal length of anywhere between 35-85mm. On a recent visit to London I took my small GF1 with 20mm prime lens and had some fun.

I hope you like a selection of shots from the day. Feel free to comment below.

Great set Pete. Brilliant captures of some great characters. Processing gives a really authentic high contrast street vibe. GF1 with the pancake makes a great combo by the look of things. Makes me want to get out there.

Great images Pete, you’ve really captured whats going on in a way that makes the viewer stare into the images to take it all in… gotta say though that one of the fish head took me by surprise lol!
