A few weeks ago ‘Team Pix’ had a well deserved break over the half term/Jubilee period. We headed to South Devon and stayed in a part well known to Louise, as she’d spent many a summer there in her younger days. This place was Beverly Park.
But as it was Summer, naturally the weather forecast was a little bit of a let down to say the least. With rain most of the week and 70mph winds predicted. However, we’re not the type of family to let a bit of bad weather stop us, so we set about seeing what South Devon had to offer.
After finding the locations of the essential places to visit i.e. coffee shops, we set a plan action to keep us entertained. Amongst the places we visited were, Paignton Zoo, the totally stunning Dartmouth, and Brixham, Kents Caverns, The Golden Hind, Dartmouth Steam Railway and River Boat, Babbacombe Model Village and Goodrington Sands.
Not bad going for 6 days we think. And yes of course we got wet, but the main thing is the camera didn’t.
Below are some of the images from our wet week away. Hope you enjoy them and feel free to comment below.
